Info For Upcomming pemkar races .

BRUNEI PEMKAR SERIES 2012

Introduction

PEMKAR will be organizing a series race for EP Touring and Drift car for year 2012 season. There will be 6 rounds of races to be held throughout this year.

Participation

Open to all racers, except for Super Stock GT Class (locals only).

Points System

All participants will be given points after every race (according to their final result). Max of 30 points will be given to the round’s champion of every class and decrement of -1 point to the next positions ie: Champion 30 points, 1st runner up 29 points and so on.

Extra 2 points will be given to the class Top qualifier (TQ).

Best 4 of 6 rounds of your points are counted to determine your overall position in this series race.

Race Classes/Categories

There are 4 classes/categories of race offered.

1) Open Modified (Sponsored by Gee Joon Enterprise).

2) Super Stock GT 13.5T (Sponsored by Warissan 1^st Emp.).

3) 1/10 Mini Chassis.

4) Drift (Sponsored by C.H. Hobbies).

Rules, Regulations and Prizes

Open Modified (Sponsored by Gee Joon Enterprise)

- ESC: Open

- Motor: Open

- Batt: Any 2 cells LiPo 7.4 or 6 cells NiMH/NiCD can be used

- Chassis: Any 1/10 EP touring car with 4WD system

- Tires: Muchmore (Controlled tires).

- Body shell: 190mm Touring type only. Rear wing height MUST   be cut no higher that the lower line. The Rear wing chord MUST also be cut at the inner lines.

-Weight: Minimum 1350g 

-Prizes: TQ and All A Main finalists will get certificates.

 B Main & below only champion will get certificates.

Champion A Main (B$30 Voucher sponsored by Gee Joon Ent.).

2nd place A Main (B$20 Voucher sponsored by Gee Joon Ent.).

3rd place A Main (B$10 Voucher sponsored by Gee Joon Ent.).

Voucher must be claim by 2 weeks after the race. If desire product not available, it will be order.

Grand Champion: Top 3 drivers will get Muchmore electronic products (will be announce at 5^th Series).

All drivers will get Trophies.

Every Series must use new controlled tires.

Controlled tires will be marked and cannot be use for next Series race.

Super Stock GT 13.5T (Sponsored by Warissan 1^st Emp.)

- ESC: Controlled (Hobbywing JustStock)*

- Motor: Controlled (Hobbywing 13.5T motor)*

- Batt: Any 2 cells LiPo 7.4 or 6 cells NiMH/NiCD can be used

- Chassis: Any 1/10 EP touring car with 4WD system or FF

  Chassis.

- Tires: Muchmore (Controlled tires).

- Body shell: GT (spoiler hard plastic).

-Weight: Minimum 1350g.  

-Prizes: TQ and All A Main finalists will get certificates.

 B Main & below only champion will get certificates.

Champion A Main (B$50 Voucher sponsored by Warissan 1^st Emp.)

2nd place A Main (B$30 Voucher sponsored by Warissan 1^st Emp.)

3rd place A Main (B$20 Voucher sponsored by Warissan 1^st Emp.)

Grand Champion will get Prize (will be announce at 5th series) sponsored by Warissan 1^st Emp.

All drivers will get Trophies.

Vouchers can be redeem only at Warissan 1^st Emp.

·        The Hobbywing JustStock package MUST be bought at Warissan 1^st Emp only. Price BND$155. Keep the receipt and show it to the race officials during race days.

·        No modification allowed on Controlled ESC & Motor.

Every Series must use new controlled tires.

Controlled tires will be marked and cannot be use for next Series race.

MINI CHASSIS

- ESC & Motor: Hobbywing JustStock 11.5T (Zero Timming) or Hobbywing JustStock 13.5T (Zero Timing).

- Batt: Any 2 cells LiPo 7.4 or 6 cells NiMH/NiCD can be used

- Chassis: Any 1/10 EP Mini Chassis 4WD or 2WD system

- Tires: Open rubber tires.

- Body shell: only Mini Chassis HIGH-ROOF body shell

- Weight: Minimum 1350g

-Prizes: TQ and All A Main finalists will get certificates.

 B Main & below only champion will get certificates.

RACE FORMAT FOR TOURING SERIES

Qualifying rounds: Minimum 1 round, Maximum 3 rounds ie: If time permits we will do 3 qualifying rounds. Best of 1 will dictates your position in the finals.

Final rounds:

'A' Main - Minimum 1 round, Maximum 3 rounds. If Time permits we will do 3 rounds. In 3 rounds finals, BEST of 2 will dictates your final standing. In 2 rounds finals, BEST of 1 will dictates your final standing.

'B' Main - Minimum 1 round, Maximum 2 rounds. If Time permits we will do 2 rounds. BEST of 1 dictates your final standing.

'C' Main and Below - 1 round only to dictates your final standing.

In case its raining: 1st we will wait for the rain to stop If its not going to stop then Final standing will be taken from the qualifying round, providing the round is completed in each classes. If its not then the race will be postpone to a later date.

Drift  (Sponsored by C.H. Hobbies)

- ESC: Open

- Motor: Open

- Batt: Any 2 cells LiPo 7.4 or 6 cells NiMH/NiCD can be used

- Chassis: Any 1/10 EP Drift chassis 50-50 or CS

- Tires: MST (Controlled tires)

- Body shell: Realistic Drift bodies (NO TC bodies allowed)

- Weight: Open.

-Prizes: Top 8 finalists will get certificates.

Grand Champion will get Prize (will be announce at 5th series) sponsored by C.H. Hobbies.

All drivers will get Trophies.

*** MST Tires MUST be used. You will need to get new sets of tires for every 2 series race. ie: 1st set for series 1 and 2. 2nd new set for series 3 and 4 and so on. Price BND$22 per set. Keep the receipt and show it to the race officials during race days.

RACE FORMAT: Drift point qualifying for the search for Top 16, from 16 drivers the format will be changed to Tandem Drift until the Final.

ENTRANCE FEE

For PEMKAR members: B$15 each class.

For NON-PEMKAR members: B$25 each class.

2 Classes: Less B$5.

3 Classes: Less B$10.

NON-LOCAL: B$20.

Entrance Fee is NOT REFUNDABLE

Registration Time: 0830 am-0930 am.

Start race: 1000 am.

All Controlled Tires must be bought at PEMKAR Representative on the race day.

Muchmore tires MX28: B$27 per set (pre mount).

MST Drift tires: B$22 per set.

OTHER MATTER

- Depends on the opportunity, 1 or 2 of the race rounds will be held outside Stadium Track. ie: Indoor carpet or race in Tutong or KB.

- The final grand prize presentation will be held at the later date and usually will be organize together with our PEMKAR annual dinner at the end of the year.

- You need to complete 4 rounds in order to get your final listing/standing and receive prizes (trophy or consolation prizes) at the Final Prize Presentation night.
